Hello Dexter Families! The school year continues to fly by, and it is now December. I would like to say THANK YOU to all our staff, parents and students for participating in our food drive by donating canned goods and other non-perishable food items. There was a total of 606 food items donated with Ms. Smith’s 3rd grade class donating the most with 237!

The Christmas holiday is approaching, and I know that this is an exciting time of the year. However, it can also be a stressful and sad time of the year for some, especially for our military families. Some families may be PCSing, a family member may be deployed and trying to balance a lot at once can be overwhelming. Always remember to stay positive, prioritize family time and talk with your children daily, allowing them to express how they feel about things they may be experiencing this time of year. Doing this can increase better communication within your family, allowing your children to feel comfortable with being open and expressing their feelings, especially during this time of year. Also, please be careful when you are out shopping and traveling staying aware of your surroundings.

We will have a holiday spirit week from December 15-18, 2025. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up to celebrate the holiday cheer.

Monday, December 15, 2025- “Holiday Colors”

Tuesday, December 16, 2025- “Holiday Headwear/Crazy Hair”

Wednesday, December 17, 2025- “Holiday Socks”

Thursday, December 18, 2025- “Ugly Holiday Sweater”

Enjoy the holiday break with your loved ones and remember to relax and stay safe.

All the Best,
