December: Meet Ms. Esposito
Highlighting Our New Staff Members
Hello! My name is Ms. Esposito, but you can call me Ms. E. I’m thrilled to be joining Dexter Elementary as the new PSCD teacher! Although I recently moved from Fort Bliss, TX, I am originally from Philadelphia, PA. My fiancé’s military career is what relocated us to Fort Benning.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from La Salle University in 2023, and I completed my master’s in Educational Psychology at Rutgers University this year. This will be my third year teaching special education. My first two years were spent teaching in a self-contained special education kindergarten classroom at a school near Fort Bliss, TX. Helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally is the most rewarding part of what I do, and I’m thrilled to continue that work here at Dexter Elementary!
Outside of school, I enjoy working out, cooking, and spending time with my pets—two cats and three chickens. We raised our chickens from the time they were tiny chicks, and they’re only a few months old now. Each of them has a unique personality, and we’re eagerly waiting for the day our very first egg is laid. It’s been such a fun experience watching them grow and learning how to care for them.
