January: Meet Mrs. Taylor

My name is Mrs. Taylor, and I am the School Counselor here a Dexter Elementary. I recently got married so most of the students know me as Ms. Howard. Getting used to the name change has been an adjustment even for myself. This is my 6^th year here at Dexter and my 15^th year in education. Before becoming a school counselor, I was a teacher the first three years of my career. I absolutely love working with children and being a school counselor.  When I’m not working, I love watching basketball games, exercising, reading books and spending time with my family and close friends. I’m also a sports mom of my 10-year-old son that keeps me busy as we travel year-round with his baseball and basketball teams.
