January: School Counselor
Happy New Year Dexter Eagles! As we welcome students back from winter break, we are excited to being the second semester of school. This time of year, is a wonderful opportunity for students to reset, refocus, and set new goals both academically and socially. Returning to routines after a long break can take time, and we appreciate your continued support and encouragement at home as students transition back into their school schedules.
Our Medal of Honor character word for this month is “Commitment”. In addition to our character word, our guidance lessons for this month will focus on goal setting. I will also begin “Transitioning to Middle School” lessons with our 5th grade students.
Remember to wear “White” for our monthly Dexter Kindness Day on Wednesday, January 14, 2026
