Columbus Ballet Theatre Visits Dexter Students

On Wednesday, November 20th, students at Dexter Elementary were treated to a visit from the Columbus Ballet Theatre. The students were introduced to four dancers who are performing in this year's rendition of "The Nutcracker."
The dancers explained which countries they each represented in the production and performed a portion of their dance for the students. The dancers also explained the different kinds of costumes they wear during the performance, the kinds of shoes they wear, demonstrated how they use pantomime to express feelings and emotions without words, and took questions from the audience. Dexter Elementary would like to thank the Columbus Ballet Theatre for visiting our school.
