Greetings Dexter Families,

Welcome Back to School Year 2024-2025! On behalf of the Dexter Staff, it is my pleasure to welcome our new and returning families! This year marks Dexter's 55th year of serving military-connected students. We are excited about the upcoming school year and the opportunity to continue serving our military-connected families. We count it an honor to serve you. We are committed to providing a safe learning environment where all students can reach their highest potential.

DoDEA’s Mission is “To Educate, Engage, and Empower military-connected students to succeed in a dynamic world.” As your Principal, I embrace the charge to ensure that there is “Excellence in Education Every day for Every student “at Dexter Elementary School. Our instruction is standards-based as teachers collaborate and align their instruction using DoDEA College and Career Ready (CCR) standards. Your child(ren) will be engaged in meaningful learning activities that involve problem-solving, responding to and using higher-order questions during discourse, and student collaboration.

Finally, we look forward to partnering with you during the upcoming school year. We believe that communication between the school and home is critical for the success of our students. I encourage you to join the PTO, volunteer, and participate in activities. Together we can ensure that Dexter is a nurturing and safe learning environment for our students.
