Fort Moore, GA - October 15, 2025 - Dexter Elementary School hosted a vibrant and educational event in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024. Hispanic parents from Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, and Mexico came together to share the rich tapestry of their cultures with the students.

The event featured interactive presentations where students learned about the geography of each country, identified their flags, and explored traditional clothing and games. The highlight of the day was the cultural showcase, where families brought samples of their traditional foods for the faculty and staff to taste, offering a delicious journey through the diverse flavors of Hispanic cuisine.

This celebration not only educated the students about different cultures but also fostered a sense of community and appreciation for diversity within the school. Dexter Elementary continues to promote inclusivity and cultural awareness through such engaging events.
